Product Overview
Shiny Unite manufactures FKM (fluorocarbon / Viton-type) O-rings for demanding sealing environments. FKM can operate at higher temperatures than most elastic rubbers and offers excellent resistance to water, ozone, UV and ageing, as well as strong resistance to petroleum products, solvents and most chemicals.
Material & Construction
Our FKM O-rings are available in a hardness range of 55 to 88 Shore A, with a service temperature range of -40°C to 250°C. Food-grade compounds can be supplied for applications that require them.

FKM is the preferred choice where high temperatures, aggressive chemicals or long service life are required. For general oil sealing at moderate temperatures, NBR is a more economical alternative; for weather or steam exposure, EPDM should be considered.
