Product Overview
Shiny Unite manufactures NBR (nitrile, Buna-N) O-rings for industrial fluid systems. Nitrile O-rings are a general-purpose sealing choice with excellent resistance to petroleum-based fuels, oils, water and wear, making them one of the most widely specified elastomers in sealing applications.
Material & Construction
Our NBR O-rings are moulded from nitrile rubber (NBR/Buna-N) and are available in a hardness range of 40 to 90 Shore A, with a service temperature range of -50°C to 150°C. Special compounds can be supplied, including FDA-grade, WRC-grade and NSF-grade materials where the application requires them.

Technical Considerations
NBR has only fair ozone resistance, so it should not be used in applications with direct, prolonged exposure to ozone or strong sunlight. For such environments, EPDM or FKM may be more suitable.
