Product Overview
Shiny Unite manufactures U-cup seals, a U-type lip seal which can be used for both piston seal and rod seal applications. The U-shaped cross-section provides a self-energising sealing lip that works with system pressure to improve sealing performance.
Design & Construction
U-cup seals are produced in rubber compounds selected for the operating media and temperature of the cylinder. Please confirm the working media, pressure range and whether the seal is for a piston or rod application so that the most suitable compound and size can be recommended.
